Please read these terms carefully before using SevaSetu services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SevaSetu mobile application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Nature of Services

SevaSetu is a digital service facilitation platform:

  • We help users apply for various government and private services through official portals
  • We provide document preparation and form-filling assistance
  • We are NOT a government authority or official government service provider
  • We act as intermediaries to simplify the application process for users
  • Final approval of any application is subject to the respective government/issuing authority

3. User Responsibilities

As a user of SevaSetu, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and truthful information in all applications
  • Upload genuine and valid documents
  • Not use the platform for any illegal or fraudulent activities
  • Keep your account credentials secure and confidential
  • Not share your account with others
  • Comply with all applicable Indian laws and regulations

4. Service Fees & Payments

Regarding payments and service fees:

  • Service fees are displayed before you confirm any order
  • Fees include our service charges and may include government fees where applicable
  • All payments are processed through secure payment gateways (Razorpay)
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice
  • Taxes (GST) are included in the displayed prices unless stated otherwise

5. Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Refunds are processed within 5-7 working days to the original payment method
  • Full refund if we are unable to process your service due to our error
  • Partial refund may apply if service is cancelled after work has begun
  • No refund for government fees already paid to official portals
  • No refund if application is rejected due to incorrect information provided by user

6. Document Handling

Regarding your documents:

  • Documents are stored securely using encryption
  • We use your documents only for completing your requested services
  • Documents are shared with service partners only when necessary and with your consent
  • You can delete your documents at any time from the app
  • We are not responsible for document rejection by issuing authorities due to quality or validity issues

7. Partner Services

About our service partners:

  • Some services are fulfilled through our network of verified partners
  • Partners undergo verification before joining our platform
  • We monitor partner quality and address any issues reported
  • Partners have access to your information only for completing your service requests

8. Limitation of Liability

Please note the following limitations:

  • SevaSetu is not liable for delays or rejections by government authorities
  • We are not responsible for changes in government policies or portal downtime
  • Our liability is limited to the service fee paid for the specific order
  • We do not guarantee approval of any application
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Intellectual Property

All content on SevaSetu including logos, designs, text, graphics, and software is the property of SevaSetu or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without our written permission.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You violate these Terms and Conditions
  • You provide false or fraudulent information
  • Your account is used for illegal activities
  • You abuse or harass our staff or partners

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of SevaSetu services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

12. Dispute Resolution

In case of any disputes:

  • First, contact our customer support to resolve the issue amicably
  • If unresolved, disputes will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
  • The seat of arbitration shall be in India
  • The language of arbitration shall be English or Hindi

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of SevaSetu after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
