1. Refund Timeline
All eligible refunds are processed within 5-7 working days to the original payment
method. Please note:
- Refunds to UPI accounts are typically processed within 2-3 working days
- Refunds to credit/debit cards may take 5-7 working days to reflect
- Net banking refunds are processed within 5-7 working days
- Wallet refunds are processed within 24-48 hours
2. Full Refund Eligibility
You are eligible for a full refund in the following cases:
- Service cancelled before any work has started
- We are unable to process your service due to our error
- Technical issues from our end preventing service completion
- Duplicate payment made for the same service
- Service not available in your region after payment
3. Partial Refund Cases
Partial refunds may apply in these situations:
- Service cancelled after work has begun (refund minus work done)
- User requests cancellation midway through the process
- Service completion delayed significantly due to government portal issues
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds are NOT applicable in the following cases:
- Application rejected due to incorrect or false information provided by user
- Documents submitted were invalid, expired, or of poor quality
- Government fees already paid to official portals on your behalf
- Service completed successfully as per order requirements
- User did not respond to requests for additional information within 30 days
- Rejection by government authority for eligibility reasons
5. Cancellation Policy
To cancel an order:
- Open the SevaSetu app and go to "My Orders"
- Select the order you wish to cancel
- Click on "Request Cancellation"
- Provide reason for cancellation
- Cancellation requests are processed within 24-48 hours
Note: Orders cannot be cancelled once submitted to government portals.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Via App: Go to My Orders → Select Order → Request Refund
- Via Email: Send email to support@sevasetu.in with order ID and reason
- Via Contact Form: Use our website contact form
Please include:
- Order ID / Transaction ID
- Registered phone number or email
- Reason for refund request
- Any supporting documents or screenshots
7. Refund Review Process
Our refund review process:
- All refund requests are reviewed within 24-48 hours
- Our team will verify the order status and eligibility
- You will receive an email confirmation once refund is approved
- If additional information is needed, we will contact you
- Approved refunds are initiated within 24 hours of approval
8. Disputes & Escalations
If you are not satisfied with the refund decision:
- You can escalate by emailing support@sevasetu.in with subject "Refund Escalation"
- Include your original refund request reference
- Senior team will review your case within 3-5 working days
- Final decision will be communicated via email
